Workshops at the LQ&N (Lacemaking, Quilting & Needlecraft) Fair 2020

A first for 2020, Makit LQ&N fair visitors will have the opportunity to take part in one of our fantastic workshops.

Workshops, led by recognised regional and national tutors, provide an easy introduction to various textile craft techniques.

Whether you want to introduce yourself to Block Printing with Melanie Missin-Keating, Crochet with Louise Drake, meet Arthur and Martha as your introduction to Stumpwork with Kay Dennis or quilt with Wendy of Camelot Crafts, you will come away with a finished piece of work to take home and enjoy!

Just in case you are unable to complete the work in the workshop you will be provided with an instruction leaflet to enable you to complete the piece at home.

Each workshop is restricted to twelve persons, the stated duration of each workshop is approximate. Workshop places may be pre-booked or purchased at the workshop desk in the venue foyer (subject to places remaining available).

It is suggested in order to avoid disappointment that you pre-book your workshop place.

The cost of entry to the fair is not included in the workshop price.

We regret that our workshops are not suitable for children under the age of 14 years due to the use of needles.
