Anna Halikova – Krajka – A Retrospective
We are delighted that this talented artist and internationally respected Lacemaker and designer has accepted our invitation to present a retrospective of her work at this year’s LQ&N (Lacemaking, Quilting & Needlecraft) Fair.
Anna has been at the forefront of the development of modern lace design in the Czech Republic and Europe. Her work based upon tradition lace techniques incorporates colour, texture, two and three dimensional shapes to create jewellery, fashion accessories, pictures and motifs that challenge the traditional concept of lace.
In addition to being joint publisher of “Krajka” the Czech lace magazine Anna regularly participates in exhibitions, couture events and runs workshops across Europe.
Come and be inspired by Anna’s work – it will be worthwhile!
