Important announcement – Coronavirus as at 26 June 2020

The Makit Fenland and LQ&N (Lacemaking, Quilting & Needlecraft) Christmas Fair 2020.

Makit have created a standard for hosting fairs that provide to our visitors and traders an enjoyable experience within a safe environment.

Due to the government guidelines, we do not consider that we shall be able to maintain that high standard and provide a safe environment at our remaining 2020 fairs so have regrettably decided to cancel our Fenland 2020 and the LQ&N (Lacemaking, Quilting & Needlecraft) Christmas Fair 2020.

Our fairs will return in 2021 and provide to our visitors outstanding exhibitions, a full programme of workshops and of course those national and regional traders that are essential to your crafts.

As textile crafters and suppliers ourselves, we’ve seen the good, bad and the indifferent when it comes to craft fairs from both sides of the table. We decided to use those insights to create a choice of fairs throughout the year.

Makit Fairs are well organised, friendly and the ideal place to meet other people who share your passion for crafting.

They take place at quality and accessible venues with plenty of car parking space. We provide at all our venues,  ample visitor seating and wide aisles so you won’t be pushed along by the crowd. Instead, you can relax and take time out to enjoy everything that’s on offer.

When you need to rest your feet, you can enjoy food and refreshments in the fairs’s coffee shop area.
